Talk 01
Range Under Pressure
What actually happens to judgment when the stakes rise, and why the descent past your best thinking feels identical, from the inside, to the climb toward it.
On navigating pressure and uncertainty.
Work with me
I work with a small number of founders and executives who are serious about the internal side of leadership, and who want a partner with real psychological training, not a repackaged business playbook.
The three pillars
Think well when it costs the most.
The decisions that define a company get made in exactly the conditions that degrade judgment, compressed time, incomplete data, real consequence. We work on the mechanics of your thinking under load, so that pressure sharpens your judgment instead of narrowing it.
Lead anyone, anywhere.
Your team spans time zones, generations and cultures. The instincts that make you effective in one room can make you illegible in the next. We build the range to move between registers deliberately, and to notice when you have defaulted to the only one you are comfortable in.
Carry what the role requires without paying for it privately.
Isolation, hypervigilance, the sense that the whole structure rests on you. These are predictable psychological consequences of the position, not personal failures. They respond well to the right work, and they compound badly when ignored.
In their words
Pilar came into my life at a time when I didn't even realize how much I needed to be genuinely heard, without judgment. Her presence helped me clear my mind, ease the overwhelm, and rethink some important aspects of my life. Having someone with an open heart, willing to truly listen and gently guide you, is something the world needs more of.
Besides having this gift at business advice, she also has this spiritual touch that I really love, because life and success is also about mindset and alignment.
You changed the game for me and I'm so grateful.
Level-headed coaching with a dash of magic.
Kevin BrunetDuring the session I had with Pilar, she asked important, incisive questions which compelled me to rethink my approach as a startup founder. Apart from being knowledgeable about the uncertainties startup founders face, Pilar is extremely patient and thoughtful, and I highly recommend reaching out to her to see if you are a good fit.
Matthew SeetIf you're looking for someone that can help you gain clarity, someone who "gets" you and can help you see what's truly important for you, Pilar is a great choice. She'll help you see straight through the noise and see things for yourself from a fresh perspective. Absolutely recommend.
Luca SorgiacomoPili's creativity and empathy permeate her coaching style. She struck an excellent balance between helping me open up to undiscovered wisdom in myself and sharing clear-eyed insights of her own that assisted me to take away better tools for my own decision-making process.
Kevin BrunetBefore
“Less certain, and disorganised when it came to understanding myself.”
After
“She helped me find real certainty, believe more in myself, and get organised about how to actually get what I want.”
More arrive as clients send them. This wall is built to grow, so send the next one whenever it comes in.
The engagement
One relationship, four roles. Most people you can hire are one of them. The work only gets interesting when someone is all four.
The currents underneath the decision, and the patterns you cannot see from inside them.
The leading itself. The board, the co-founder, the team, the call you have been postponing.
Sometimes the useful thing is not another question but a straight opinion, drawn from the companies I have helped and the things I have built. Not to obey. To test.
A creativity partner and a sounding board, with eleven years of doing precisely this. Some weeks this is the most valuable of the four.
How it is structured
We begin with a three month commitment, because three months is the minimum honest amount of time in which something real changes. Offering you less would be taking your money.
After that it becomes a monthly arrangement, continuing exactly as long as it is useful to you. Nobody is held hostage by a contract.
No pricing appears anywhere on this site, by design. It belongs in the conversation, once we both know whether this is the right fit.
Talks & keynotes
Every talk is a piece of the same argument: the constraint on a capable person is almost never capability. Delivered in English or Spanish, to leadership teams, conferences and cohort programmes.

How it works
Step one
No charge, no obligation, no pitch. We find out whether this is the right fit, and if it isn't, I say so plainly and point you somewhere better.
Step two
The minimum honest period for meaningful change. Rhythm and scope shaped around your reality rather than a fixed package.
Step three
Month to month afterwards. Confidential throughout, structured around the models on the method page and applied specifically to you.
